Zutaten
  

Patties
  • 250 g Hüttenkäse preferably low-fat
  • 2 large Eier beaten
  • 100 g Haferflocken rolled oats
  • 50 g Geriebener Käse e.g. Parmesan or Gouda
  • 1 TL Salz
  • 1 TL Pfeffer freshly ground
  • 1 TL Paprikapulver optional for flavor
  • 2 EL frisches Schnittlauch chopped
Serving
  • 100 g Joghurt for dipping
  • 1 TL Zitronensaft for flavor

Method
 

Prepare the Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, beaten eggs, rolled oats, grated cheese, salt, pepper, paprika, and chopped chives. Mix until well combined.
  2. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes to allow the oats to absorb some moisture.
Cook the Patties
  1. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a little oil or cooking spray.
  2. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and form it into a patty. Place it in the pan.
  3. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and firm.
  4. Repeat with the remaining mixture, adding more oil as needed.
Prepare the Yogurt Dip
  1. In a small bowl, mix the yogurt with lemon juice. Stir well to combine.
Serve
  1. Serve the cottage cheese patties warm with the yogurt dip on the side.
