Zutaten
  

Chicken and Sauce
  • 600 grams chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for frying
  • 1 large onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons paprika powder sweet or smoked
  • 200 ml heavy cream for sauce
  • salt to taste salt
  • pepper to taste black pepper
Gnocchi
  • 500 grams gnocchi store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tablespoon butter for frying
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Stir in paprika powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another minute.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Cook the Gnocchi
  1. In a pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add gnocchi and cook according to package instructions until they float to the surface.
  2. Drain the gnocchi and add them to the skillet with the chicken and sauce. Gently stir to combine.
  3. In a separate pan, melt butter and lightly fry the gnocchi for a few minutes until golden.
Serve
  1. Plate the paprika chicken and gnocchi, garnishing with chopped parsley.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy your meal!
