Chicken
  • 500 grams chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
Vegetables
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 medium red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper sliced
Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons paprika sweet or smoked
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 100 ml chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Cook the Vegetables
  1. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  2. Stir in the sliced bell peppers and cook for another 5 minutes.
Make the Sauce
  1. Sprinkle the paprika over the chicken and vegetables, stirring to combine.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring until well mixed.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper, simmer for 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Serve
  1. Serve the Paprika-Sahne-Hähnchen over rice or pasta, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
