Pasta
  • 300 grams Pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
Broccoli
  • 400 grams Broccoli florets Fresh or frozen
Garlic
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
Olive Oil
  • 4 tablespoons Olive oil Extra virgin preferred
Parmesan Cheese
  • 50 grams Parmesan cheese Grated, for serving

Method
 

Cook the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
Prepare the Broccoli
  1. During the last 3 minutes of pasta cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pot. Drain the pasta and broccoli together in a colander.
Sauté Garlic
  1. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Combine and Serve
  1. Add the drained pasta and broccoli to the skillet with garlic. Toss well to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
