Method
Prepare the Dough
- In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Shape and Cook the Langos
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F).
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 4 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into a flat circle about 1 cm thick.
- Place the flatbreads in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not overlap.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
Serve the Langos
- Remove the langos from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.
- Top each langos with sour cream, garlic, cheese, and parsley.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
