Zutaten
  

Potato Mixture
  • 500 grams potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 200 grams cheddar cheese grated
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 100 grams all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Breading
  • 100 grams breadcrumbs
  • 50 grams parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
Frying
  • 500 ml vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

Prepare Potatoes
  1. Boil the cubed potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
  2. Drain and mash the potatoes in a mixing bowl.
Mix Ingredients
  1. Add the grated cheddar cheese, beaten egg, flour, salt, and pepper to the mashed potatoes. Mix until well combined.
Shape Sticks
  1. Form the potato mixture into sticks, about 1 inch thick.
Prepare Breading
  1. In a separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, grated parmesan, and paprika.
Bread the Sticks
  1. Coat each potato stick in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Fry the Sticks
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the sticks in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  2. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Serve
  1. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
