Pasta and Vegetables
  • 300 g Pasta e.g., penne or fusilli
  • 2 pcs Leeks sliced
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
Meat and Sauce
  • 400 g Ground Beef
  • 200 ml Cream heavy cream
  • 150 g Cheese grated, e.g., Gouda or Emmental
  • 1 pcs Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika

Method
 

Cook the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain the pasta and set aside.
Prepare the Meat and Sauce
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet, cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Stir in sliced leeks and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in the cream and bring to a simmer. Add grated cheese and stir until melted and combined.
Combine and Serve
  1. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the meat and sauce. Toss to combine and heat through.
  2. Serve hot, garnished with additional cheese if desired.
