Zutaten
  

Chicken and Marinade
  • 500 grams chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce for marinating
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch for coating
Vegetables
  • 1 bell pepper red sliced
  • 1 bell pepper green sliced
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks canned or fresh
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
Sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons of water
Oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

Marinate Chicken
  1. In a bowl, combine chicken pieces with soy sauce and cornstarch. Mix well and let marinate for 15 minutes.
Prepare Sauce
  1. In a separate bowl, mix ketchup, rice vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce, and cornstarch mixture. Set aside.
Cook Chicken
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken and stir-fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Add Vegetables
  1. Add garlic, onion, bell peppers, and pineapple to the wok. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender.
Combine with Sauce
  1. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Stir well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Serve
  1. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
