Zutaten
  

Salad Ingredients
  • 2 medium cucumbers thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt for cucumbers
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tablespoon red onion finely chopped
Dressing Ingredients
  • 200 grams plain yogurt preferably Greek
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil optional
  • pepper to taste black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Cucumbers
  1. Slice the cucumbers thinly and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and let them sit for about 10 minutes to draw out moisture.
Make the Dressing
  1. In a separate bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, and olive oil.
  2. Whisk until smooth and season with black pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve
  1. After the cucumbers have released some moisture, drain them and add to the dressing.
  2. Add chopped dill and red onion, and mix well.
  3. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
